Driving anywhere in the Catskills provides a beautiful backdrop for such a special occasion. Use the address above to find the our wedding location. Coming from NYC, it is about 2-2.5 hours by car. It’s a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. Email us if you have any questions regarding directions, or if you are looking for someone to carpool with.

If flying in, Albany will be your airport of choice. It’s about an hour drive away. Rental cars are available upon landing and will come in handy while taking in the many beautiful sights of the Catskills. It is a smaller airport than the NYC area airports, so will have fewer flight options, however we think this still outweighs trying to beat NYC traffic.

New York City area airports may offer more attractive flight options, particularly if you plan to spend more time in the NYC area before or after the wedding. Newark Liberty International (EWR) in New Jersey is the closest at an approximately two hour and fifteen minute drive to Mt. Tremper, NY. La Guardia International Airport (LGA) is the second closest at an approximately two and half hour drive, and John F. Kennedy (JFK) is approximately two hours and forty five minutes away.

It’s possible to take Amtrak or the Metro-North from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie. A rental car would be necessary from this point onward. They are available near the train station. Taxis are generally not available in the Catskills.

The Trailways Bus can take you from NYC Port Authority (625 8th Ave) to Phoenicia (Phoenicia Supply, 52 Main St) and back again. Please visit their website for specific bus times and routes. The total trip is approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Phoenicia a car or taxi service would be needed to transport you to your hotel and the venue, unless you are staying at the Graham & Co. Hotel which is within walking distance to the drop-off point. Shuttles to-from the wedding venue will be provided for all events.

Woodstock Town Car service can be used if you need a car service while in the area. Keep in mind the minimum fare is $39 plus tip. You can contact them directly for local rates for short distance rides.
